Emergency Critical Care

ECC SIG conducts a three-year structured and supervised fellowship training program for emergency physician of Malaysian Ministry of Health.

ECC Fellowship Program equips an emergency physician with knowledge and skills from major clinical specialties to optimally resuscitate and stabilize, correct the abnormal pathophysiology, arrive to the most accurate diagnosis, and institute disease modifying or definitive therapy for emergency department patients.

Training is conducted at busy tertiary emergency departments of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur Hospital including an overseas attachment.

Fifteen ECC Fellowship Program graduates are providing services as Emergency Critical Care Consultants at Ipoh Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Kuala Lumpur Hospital, Malacca Hospital, Alor Setar Hospital, Johor Bharu Sultanah Aminah Hospital, and Kota Kinabalu Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
